One of my favourite things to do in December, is visit a Christmas Market (or two, maybe three). This year, it was all about exploring the Christmas markets of Paris, until the French decided to go on a general strike and our Eurostar got cancelled. So Paris was exchanged for a day trip to Norwich.

Norwich doesn’t have spectacular Christmas markets, but it is a cute day out. The one to visit is at Norwich Cathedral, with home made gifts, lots of gin, and homemade sweet treats. Outside, treat yourself to a mulled win and wonder around the outside stalls. This Christmas market isn’t on all December, but head into Norwich city centre for shopping around their lanes, and the department stores that still exist. What is lovely about Norwich is the mixture of chains and independent shops, to really help you with your Christmas shopping list.

Wondering around Christmas Markets, you need to be comfortable but you also want to look nice. For me, my Jack Wills beige coat will always be my go-to. Dressing up causal outfits, but also looks stunning with a very basic outfit. Simple and stylish outfits are my go-to this time of the year, hence why I tend to opt for Topshop black Joni jeans, and a simple white knit (also Topshop). Then to add a bit of ‘sometime something’ a pair of ankle boots can change an outfit. My snake skin effect pointy toed boots are also from Topshop.
